Lake Erie Basic Committee (LEBC)

LEBC is a multi-League group of state and local Leagues located within the Lake Erie Basin–a U.S. Geographic area of approximately 20,900 square miles - that includes the Lake Erie watershed lands, rivers, and streams of five states: Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York.

The League of Women Voters Lake Erie Basin Committee (LEBC) was organized in 1963 for the purpose of studying, discussing, and coordinating action on critical issues concerning Lake Erie and its watershed.

AAUW (formerly known as the American Association of University Women) - AAUW/Toledo Branch

AAUW advances equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research.

Lake Erie Waterkeeper

Organization works to preserve, protect, and improve the watersheds, waters, and fish of Lake Erie.

LWV-TLC partners with and/or supports various groups throughout northwest Ohio in voters service activities or advocates for issues that fall within the purview of our Program for Advocacy.

An environmental  grassroots organization, Advocates for a Clean Lake Erie (ACLE) was founded in Toledo, Ohio to protect the Western Lake Erie Basin and the communities that depend on it.
